Back and forth between the parking lot and the office. spring is dragging out tremendously windy and cold. Very unpleasant most of the time. but in another way incredibly invigorating.

the i -deal coffee shop. the spot where I read the Ottawa Citizen article about the end of the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography as an entity separate from the National Gallery. Apparently the Harper government wants the CMCP building to use as office space. I wonder when Harper will tell the National Gallery to move out because he wants that building for his walk - in closet.

Remarkably warm weather, above freezing for a couple of weeks - well above freezing. Seemed like every motorcycle in town was out last Sunday. Walking mostly between parking lot and office at the University with occasional breaks walking around the parents basement in Calgary, carrying boxes of junk. Attended the Ukulele All Stars session last night, I'm more than a little rusty.

Walking in and out of the university a good part of the day teaching pinhole photo in my intro class. Always a pleasant part of the class. The weather was perfect for pinhole, very bright, sunny and warm. Tomorrow is snow and plunging temperatures.

Chinooks this week. Lots of ice and slush. The city is finally getting around to cleaning what's left of the snow from the streets. Spring-like conditions. 8-10 degrees all week.

Back walking in Lethbridge. Lots of snow - huge snow for Lethbridge. There is no snow removal as the city prefers to wait until a chinook arrives for a melt. This has resulted in considerable disruption in driving and walking. Deep snow and ice on all roads and sidewalks.
